2 Corinthians 1:12-2:11

Like any spiritual discipline, growth requires practice. This week, consider ways to live transparently and freely forgive; in other words, practice Gospel-shaped reconciliation.

Reconciliation is where transparency and forgiveness meet.

  1. Practice examined honesty - Before you defend yourself, examine yourself.
  2. Practice Timely Conversation - Timeliness prevents small fractures from becoming deep divides.
  3. Practice Tender Forgiveness - Forgiveness should feel like relief, not probation.
  4. Practice Community Protection - When reconciliation becomes normal, the church becomes resilient.
  5. Practice Entrusting Outcomes to God - Reconciliation does not guarantee restored closeness… It guarantees obedience.
